Cypress Flood Remodel
At the end of my several months long home renovation, I asked myself one final question. “Would I hire Caliber Construction Group again?” I am pleased to say, “Absolutely!” and would also feel confident recommending this company to my friends and family.
My home suffered water damage caused by both Hurricane Harvey and frozen pipes the following January. These issues lead to a full house remodel that included a new master bathroom, complete hardwood floor replacement, secondary bathroom update, sheetrock and trim repairs, new paint throughout the home and a custom barn door in the game room.
I had every trade working on my home at one time or another from electricians and plumbers to flooring professionals, carpenters and painters. I can honestly say, that I felt safe and secure with each contractor and they really cared about the quality of their work. Most importantly, they treated my home with respect and didn’t call the job complete until I was 100% satisfied. I was even spoiled at times by one of the main contractors, Omar, who constantly greeted me with a smile and made sure his crew cleaned and mopped the areas prior to leaving each day. David Norman, my General Contractor who is one of Caliber’s Owners, was terrific at keeping my spirits up through the entire process and was extremely diligent about checking all work. He also returned my calls or texts immediately if I had any concerns or questions.
Prior to selecting Caliber Construction Group, I received 4 other bids for my projects. Caliber’s prices were fair and competitive with other A+ BBB companies, and fulfilled my requirements of being fully insured and a member of the GHBA. I ultimately selected Caliber Construction Group because of their excellent customer service track record, rarely offered in-writing 3-year work warranty, and the honesty and integrity demonstrated by David Norman from our initial meeting. I really appreciated that David was a straight shooter regarding all costs and his opinions on my “outdated” tile selections, which I too was questioning. He kindly encouraged me to go a different direction which yielded a beautiful master bathroom.
A home renovation is a stressful, messy process, which is why I am so thankful that I hired Caliber Construction Group. David Norman and his team really made the process more bearable. Caliber Construction Group delivered on their promise of completing all work within the specified budget and produced very impressive results. So yes, I will be using Caliber Construction Group again in the future for another bathroom remodel and outside patio cover.
